BBB Alert: Watch Out For Utility Mailings

The Better Business Bureau of Coastal Carolina would like to warn residents of the Myrtle Beach area that may have received recent mailings from Home Serve USA, to do their research before handing over any money. The BBB has received a number of inquiries into Home Serve by home owners that are receiving cards, letters, or flyers from the company offering water service line coverage. Many of the consumers that have called our office are saying that they were confused by the message conveyed by Home Serve, as it led them to believe the letters were from the City utility company.
